When the students are researching for a diagnosis based on the symptoms they get from the patient, they should know that many changes will have to take place from their first to the last diagnosis. They will make errors and will need to rethink and revise their answers.
Letting students Evaluate – Students already evaluate themselves on their approaches, how to find the answers, researching, how to use the equipment, and scenarios at the doctor’s office.
Tailoring instruction to students needs. When the teacher is circulating the classroom, she will know what needs to be clarified, discussed or pinpointing strengths and weaknesses of students and what different approaches they may need to take.
Being Organized. Both the teacher and the student’s need to be organized in their researching and diagnosis. There shouldn’t be error in making the diagnosis and treatment. Otherwise the patient will die.
The teacher should be organized from the introduction of the lesson to the end. S/he should be anticipating problems, solutions, questions, scenarios of what might happen in the classroom with learning the Circulatory System. Organization also in terms of providing spontaneous feedback, correcting problems right away, keeping student’s engaged and on task at all times.
